When one of Australia’s most celebrated fingerstyle guitarists teams up with one of our favourite singer songwriters the results are a music of beautiful subtlety and poetic lyricism. Adam Miller & Jason Lowe will present the fruits of this collaboration with the release their EP.

“Jason and I have been dear friends and collaborated together for many years. Instead of just hanging out and drinking tea one afternoon in May, we decided to set up some microphones and jam a little. The result it this collection of 4 improvisations recorded in 1 hour! ……we believe it’s a great example of the joy we have have creating together.”

Adam Miller: Australian Fingerstyle Champion (2002), Miller has played an array of International & National festivals including the Montreal Jazz Festival, Australian Blues Festival, A Day On The Green, Jazz In The Vines, and the Woodstock, Melbourne, and Adelaide International Guitar Festivals. He is a regular artist at NAMM (Los Angeles & Nashville) and Musikmesse (Germany) shows where he plays for some of the world’s most respected guitar companies and luthiers.

Jason Lowe: residing in Canada for 2 years performing over 150 shows across British Columbia and making an indelible mark on the west coast scene. Jason’s live shows are an experience like no other, and embody an emotion, poetic and musical power, and wisdom that have been likened only to such greats as his heroes Joni Mitchell and Neil Young. The former of which he had the honor to meet, an enchanting story that fans delight to hear at his live shows.

BANDALUZIA is an acclaimed modern flamenco ensemble led by ARIA nominated guitarist DAMIAN WRIGHT. Bandaluzia was recently invited to perform at The Adelaide International Guitar Festival and was awarded “The Pick Of the Sydney Fringe” at The Sydney Fringe Festival. In 2014 Bandaluzia performed to a sold out Sydney Opera House Concert Hall as an invited artist to TEDX Sydney. Known for their powerful performances, unique sound and explosive displays of dazzling musicianship and virtuosity that has made Bandaluzia a great success at festivals and theatres across Australia. Featuring Dance Australia Magazine’s “Most Outstanding Dancer of 2013” and co- winner of “Best Dance Show” at The Adelaide Fringe 2014 JESSICA STATHAM (flamenco dance), Freedman fellowship winner and National Jazz Awards finalist BEN HAUPTMANN (Katie Noonan, Gurrumul, Lior etc….) on Mandolin & brilliant percussionist JAMES HAUPTMANN (James Morrison, Vince Jones, Bluejuice…etc).Bandaluzia are also highly revered for their ability to mix elements of other genres into their performances, whether being the rich harmonies of Jazz, the exotic melodies of the Orient or the infectious rhythms of South America. JUNE 17TH – KIRK FLETCHER (USA) BLUES GUITAR LEGEND

Kirk Fletcher has a reputation as a bonafide can’t-miss performer. His soulful playing and singing never fails to elicit chills, and his unique approach to blues and roots music is both refreshingly modern and completely authentic. Widely considered one of the best blues guitarists in the world, he has commanded the respect and acclaim of critics, peers and fans across the globe. He is a four-time Blues Music Award and a 2015 British Blues Award nominee and has played with a variety of popular artists, including Joe Bonamassa and a three-year role as lead guitarist of The Fabulous Thunderbirds. He is also the frontman of his own Kirk Fletcher Band, having released three studio albums and a live album. A fourth studio album is currently in the works.
